Tea Party ~~ May Twenty-Seventeen

Tea Party

Welcome to my first tea party! I’m just gonna chitchat about what’s going on in my life over the last month, feel free to chitchat back in the comments!

What I’m Tea Drinking

Twinnings Lady Grey tea. It’s just about time for iced tea (in fact I’ve already been drinking quite a bit of it). However, it’s a little cool and cloudy today so hot tea it is!

Where I’m Drinking it

Home today. I’ve been doing a lot of work at coffee shops lately, and intend to continue doing so. But, I already left the house twice today…. Plus aren’t these London/Paris mugs so cute? My mom got them for me for my birthday a couple years ago. I tried to find a link to where you can buy them, but Coventry discontinued them *sad face*.

What’s Happenin’

I’ve mentioned in one or two other posts that my husband was out of town for a month. He finally came home Monday and I’m so glad to have him back! He spent 4 weeks in Kentucky at MOS school for the army reserves. I really hated having him gone, but the plus side is that he won’t have to go to AT this year.

As for me, I’ve been spending most of my time working on the blog, or walking. I also printed out some of our wedding pictures (finally) and hung them in our living room!

Other than that the most exciting thing going on in our lives is that our air conditioner is out just in time for the hot days of Kansas summer. Yuck.

Goals and Plans for Next Month

We met with a personal trainer today. I don’t know whether we’re going to choose to end up working with her or not, but I’m definitely hoping to work harder on my fitness goals this month.

Another goal I have is for us to eat at home more. We’re busy people and sometimes it’s difficult to want to cook dinner at the end of the day. But we’ve gotta save money. Being an adult sucks.

I really enjoy crafting, but I don’t usually get a chance to do a lot of it. But one of my blog goals for next month is to figure out something I can make and sell via the blog/Etsy. If you have any ideas feel free to share them!

I also hope to do more OOTD Instagram posts now that my #instagramhusband is home… which leads me into my May Tea Party outfit:

  1. I try to eat at home as much as possible but I agree it’s hard when you’re tired or on the go. I love the feeling of getting a space decorated, hanging pictures always makes me so happy! Good luck with your goals (:

  2. I actually love having Twinings berry tea over ice – such a refreshing summery drink! And congrats on having your husband back and getting some decorating done! I’m working on a little photo wall now actually haha. And I have an etsy shop for handmade jewelry, but think I might eventually expand it or open up a new one up for planner supplies/stickers and such since my mom just got a Cricut machine!

  3. First off all good luck on your goals! I’m currently working on Whole 30 and trying to work out twice a day so I know it’s tough. Second I absolutely love you dress at the end!
